Today is my first day of work at CCHS (yishun). Ok lah. Actually only got one day there. Its super sad. Like of the whole CCHS, only 4 sales leh!!! My partner Chooying got 3, Baozhen got 1, AND I GOT ZERO!!! Its seriously a game of luck lor. Pls dun ask me why, cos I have explained this to me colleagues for so many times le lor, bitching to be exact. In the end, Chooying gave me one of her sales. Thanks Chooying Jze!!! :P Sales in schools like HCI, CCHS (main) and VS are so much better lah! Nvm...shall work hard and not get so demoralised!!! (: JQ JIAYOU!!!

Anyway... My fellow IJC de joyce didnt wish to submit her contract cos she thinks that this job is very bo hua. Haiz... I lost a partner liao. And I very much want to do the same as her lor. But looking at the colleagues that I have, I have decided to hang on no matter how hard things appear to be. Its like the feeling of pre-u sem, or shd i say even better than pre-u sem.

So as usual... D Sen was super funny today. Yenyee was suanning IJ and AJ cos her ACJC got many many facilities. Of which Jonathan is super fascinated by the fact that ACS (barker) has a lift. So Yenyee went around asking us whether our JC got lift not.

Yenyee: Eh, your (Jonathan and Chew Pin) school got lift not?
Jonathan: No lah, only three storey leh, need lift for wad.
Yenyee: (to Joel) Your school got.
Joel: No.
Suddenly that D Sen shouted...
D Sen: Eh, mai siao siao hor! My friend 18 years old got two children le hor!
Rest of us: ......
It turn out that he wasnt aware that we are talking about the lift issue and thought we were talking about that. He's super random lah. All of us laughed like mad sia...

Oh and also, when I went back to the office from CCHS, I went to have lunch with Daniel, Joyce and D Sen at the army market. So when its me and D Sen's time to buy food, D Sen went to ask the seniors wad food nice to eat lah. After that, the both of us went to hunt for food. Then we came across this char kuey tiao stall. Above the stall is three television set. Then there was this queue over there. So D Sen and I concluded that it must be a popular stall. Ok lah, the food not bad. Hahaha. Oh, before that, he wanted to buy from stalls with the channel u newspaper cuting de lor.

Guess wad, joke of the day belongs to the classic Jaye (our imba instructor).

Jaye: Ok, since there's nothing to do now, you all can left liao.

Yenyee starts to laugh. When I saw her laughing, i pointed to her and mouthed out "dun laugh, dun laugh". And both of us ended up laughing out lah. After that, she was ike "Eh, why u make me laugh... Nxt time i dun wan to stand opposite of u le lah." But Jaye is super classic lah. Lol.

Hahaha. Wonder how the rest of my working days will be like. Cant wait!!! (:

Lol. It’s been so long since I have updated this blog. Anyway… Today is my first day at work. Well, not exactly work lah. Today is the training for my work tomorrow. Made many many friends from many different JCs. Shall intro them.

We got into groups for the first segment of our presentation. The people in the same group as me are:
- Junqiang (me, duh); Innova JC
- Jonathan; Anderson JC
- Daniel; Nanyang JC
- Joseph; a super quiet guy, so didn’t get to know his school also
- Shi Hui; Catholic JC
This group was quite fun lah. I felt like a orientation group leader lor. Hahaha. Zhi ye bing lah.

At 12, it was lunch (cum breakfast for me). We all went out to eat lor. Few people joined us. They were:
- Joel; Serangoon JC
- Amanda; Temasek JC
- Joyce; Innova JC
- (shall not mention his name now); Serangoon JC

Ok, I didn’t mention the guy’s name cos his name is super special. Below is my conversation with him when I asked for his name.

JQ: Hey, what is your name?
Guy: (says something that sounds like ‘decent’)
JQ: D-E-C-E-N-T?
Guy: No lah, is D Sen.
Well, believe it or not. His name is called ‘D Sen’. Special huh?

Anyway…those two guys from SRJC were like super funny lah. They are the clowns lor. Super funny. We had many super funny conversations.

Joel: Eh, you guys know that in J2s in SRJC are considered the pro ones?
D Sen: Yalor.
Joel: You know my school damn pathetic lor. The university admission is damn chailat.
D Sen: Ya, only 3 in 1 (actually is 1 in 3 lah) can get into uni leh.
Joel: Ya, like I always tell my juniors when they sitting in the hall. “You see ar, the guy sitting at your left and right respectively. You all ar… (starts labeling them) Retained, promote, kicked out. Retained, promote, kicked out.”
Everyone: (laughs)
Joel: Eh, is my senior tell us de lor, we are just in charged of passing down the tradition.

Ok lah, as usual, a joke is no longer funny when I typed it out. But I swear its super funny when we first heard it.

Oh, as I was saying. We went out for lunch. We couldn’t find any nice place to eat at that area. Then we spotted this prata restaurant. So we went in, and one by one, everyone stunned sia. Cos the prata there is super ex! Like one plain prata is $1.60? We all seriously feel like leaving the place lor, but very paiseh lah. Anyway…we ordered stuff lah. Then in the background was playing there Indian FM station. Like super annoying! Their music just makes us lose all our appetite lah. After eating, we settled the bill and stuff. Then we found out that from all the money that we paid, there is extra! And Joel commented that we have 8 different JCs here and yet we can’t do maths. Lol.

Then, as usual, the two SRJC peeps are up to no good lah. I think they bought beehoon in the morning, and they can’t finish. So they decide to dump the two packets of beehoon there. So we went out of the restaurant after that lor. Suddenly, an Indian guy riding a bicycle rode up to us and pass the two packet of beehoon to D Sen, and rode away. I mean just imagine that scene, super super funny!

Oh, highlight of the day!!! We had this instructor who is actually one of the tao for the company lah. Her engrish hor, is super super tokong sia! She’s like the entertainment for the day lah. She has a fetish for “ing” cos she LOVES to add a “ing” behind the word “to”. Example… “Our job is to go to schools to promoting times magazine”. ROFL. Just when I thought my dad’s English is bad enough. And she has weird pronounciation. She pronounces Obama is Omaba. OMG! Poor president Obama. Became like amoeba lor… I pity him.

And another one is worse! The actual sentence is “How to teach you body to fight with cancer.”. She said so fast that it became “ How to teach your body to f**k with cancer.”. Lol.

And one super classic thing. She like to use “bla bla bla”. But her pronounciation koyak until she keep saying “bra bra bra”. Its super funny!

And guess what? She told us that we are supposed to attend a 3-day training course, but due to time constrain, the training is condensed into a 1-day thing.
First reaction by us: Wad? Luckily…
Final reaction by us when the course ends: Huh? We don’t mind all 3 days lor. Cos the instructor is super funny and entertaining! Plus we are paid when we are having training leh. How good can things be.

Aiya…as usual… I got so many things to blog about and yet like no mood like that. Haiz… Anyway… I think im so going to enjoy my job man! :P Shall blog some other days. (:

Oh! Before I forget!!! Im posted to CCHS to do sales tomorrow. Sian... I think I cannot earn much de lor. Like Jonathan so good, go ACS (barker), cfm lots of sales. And Shihui lagi more zai, go hwachong sia... T.T

Lol. A levels is close to an end. Just one more paper left, which is like on the 03 of December. Sian. Can't believe that we have 10 days to prepare for Bio Paper 1. Nevermind, shall not care about it for now. I will only study for it when December starts. Lol.

Anyway, went shopping for prom stuff with harpers. Went to many many places, was damn tired. My legs are aching like hell and my back is damn stiff after walking for the whole day. However, at the end of the day, couldn't really find the stuff I wanted. T.T

Tried several shirts today. Wasn't really looking for prom stuff lah. Just randomly trying on clothes.

This is from Topman. Looks like some japan high school kind of uniform. It looks SUPER NICE on its own. But on me is a totally different thing lor. T.T

The inside. Its tight fit lor. T.T Need to jian fei liao. But quite shuang lah, wore so many s size shirts today. :P

Cant remember where this is from. But Baley they all say it looks like some council jacket. T.T lah. Aiya, everything I wear they also say not nice. Damn sad. I seriously don't know what to wear for prom le lah...

This is from zara. Another shirt that only looks good by itself and not on me. OMG! Total sianness... :(

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL.

Today is the last day of our JC2 life. I told some of my friends, after today, we are no longer classmates. We are rivals; competitors that will hinder easch other in our path to straight A's. Lol. But obviously its just joking only lah, because our real competitors are students from other schools! (:

Had college day and farewell assembly today. We were seated in the hall to see people talk, and to see people getting certs cos they did well for A levels last year, cos they contribute to the school bla bla bla.

The fun part is probably is the farewell video for students. Because we can see how our teachers make a fool of themselves, yet are able to express their best wishes for us. Touching indeed. I like the maths department's a lot. They used concepts of mathematical induction and hypothesis testing to prove that IJC students love maths. Damn funny. Really appreciate it alot. Hahaha.

We bought presents for our teachers too! (:

Its damn funny to see how Ms Goh behave when we gave her the zebra. She got high, jumping about, and then just stretch out her arms to hug the zebra. So cute lah. Nt Ms Goh...but the zebra. Lol. But sad thing is I couldnt find Mdm Wong to take photo. I got take with all my tutors lor. So I called her to find her, and our conversation is as follow:

Mdm Wong: Hello? I received miss calls from you. May I know who is this?

JQ: This is Junqiang here. Apparently the class is looking for you.

Mdm Wong: But im out of school already...

JQ: Really? Cos we wanted to take a photo with you...

Mdm Wong: Oh, im sorry but I only tale photos with A graders.

(By the way, she forgot that she took photo with Leeping during last year's Teachers' Day. Lol.)

JQ: But we are potential A graders wad...

Mdm Wong: Yar, and tt means you have a potential phototaking session lor.

JQ: -_-"'

JQ: /_\ (Just joking...anyhow add de. :P)

Really dunno why I am feeling this way. Haiz... Maybe thanks to my prelim results ba... And after receiving the gifts from Mr Sim and Ms Wong. It's like something that if you accept it, you MUST do well for your A levels. But who dun wan to do well. Everyone wants to. But if one dun have the ability, why bother. It just makes me so guilty if I never do well. It just bothers me whole day long.

My friends once told me. "Please your results is like better than us."

My stand is, why look at me as an individual when I have so many others who are doing so much better than me in other schools? The bell curve is a cruel thing. I HATE YOU!!!

Read an article on 我报yesterday. Found it really 深入人心, so I decided to type the article in my blog.

人需不需要被理解？

人是群体动物，需要被理解，才会觉得自己并不孤单。每个人都渴望被他人理解，但事实上，这并不容易。

世界这么大，不同的成长环境和生活经历造就了不同的人，而每个人都有自己的想法，因此要做到完全理解一个人谈何容易。

正如很多父母无法理解孩子的想法，老是搞不懂为何又优良的求学环境，孩子还是不愿意用心学习。

说不定孩子已经很努力，只不过功课表现没有达到家长的要求。家长要求孩子付出心力拼学习，但家长对自己事业是否拿出同样的拼劲？

不被理解，可能是因为别人没有你这样的经历，无法感同身受。但如果你能为对方设身处地想想，理解他为何“不理解”，那你就能轻易走出这种被误解的难过了。

Xiuxian? You reading my blog? HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! I OWE YOU ONE... HAHAHA.

Its been a long long long time since I update this blog. Hahaha. So many things to blog abt, but thanks to my limited memory space in my brain, I cant rmb much. Hmm... Let's see...

1) Prelims is a total disaster. Results was so so lah. But according to the school's cockpit, I failed all my H2s cos I had to attend my uncle's funeral. Well, was damn sad when my CT told me that I have to go to LT4 that afternoon to listen to the principal's motivstional talk because I failed all my H2s. So was damn emo that day, couldn't pay attention during maths lecture. Got caught by JX for stoning. Well, I was so demoralised. To the point that I actually blame my deceased uncle, blame him that his funeral has caused me all those unnecessary trouble. Im really sorry... Really regreted it. I guess I just need a place/person to vent my anger on.

I really hope that my friends can understand my feelings at that point of time, apparently they don't. But im in no better position to say them simply because I don't think I considered their feelings too. I was so pessimistic that I said out that I will most likely retained and be a JC2 in 2010. Well, sorry guys. I REALLY didn't mean it.

PLEASE FORGIVE ME.

2) Today during GP tutorial, Mr Sim said something funny.

Mr Sim: (to JX) Do you know that if you lie, your things becomes small?
JX: Huh, I thought for pinocchio is become longer.

Mr Sim: No lah. Next time your girlfriend will be like "Eh, where is it? Come on, open it up"

Mr Sim: (immediately added) So you guys should know that I do not lie.

Lol. Mr Sim sure is a sick guy. It just sounds so wrong. It feels wrong. And it IS wrong. But a funny scene seeing Mr Sim and JX arguing over that sick issue. Hahaha.

3) School has been damn stressful for this week. We had lessons until so damn late. Had homework that comes in bulk for us to chiong, totally depriving us of our precious revision time. Although many people say that doing work is to revise, but i just do not agree with it la. And what's more. ITS 30 DAYS TO A LEVELS!!!

Hmm... What am I even doign here right? Im supposed to be mugging and not blogging. Im supposed to be sleeping and not typing. Im a bad boy. I should abandon me-not-otaku.blogspot.com for 2 months!!!! Muahaha.

Just had a chat with a friend I got to know in Hendon Camp. He's from SAJC and his sch prelims is like almost halfway over. So i was kaypoh and asked him how was his prelims. He said that quite demoralising, especially his bio paper. Hello? Other people H3 bio de hor! I think different league lah. His essay was on bacteria/virus and evolution. Hmm... Wonder what will IJC's be...

Prelims in just 3 day's time. Damn scared sia...plus like im slacking... Haiz...

I've been waking up at 6am recently to mug, but today, i failed. :( My mom woke me up at 6am and i fell asleep until 7am. So i started studying and so luckily, I manage to fall asleep. DAMN! But I woke up at 11am later and have my breakfast, then I set off to school! (:

I seriously think I can study better in school, alone. Its like i've been doing that for two days and I find it quite productive. Like for today, I think I spent like consecutive 4 hours sitting there reading my "microeconomics essay answers" and "macroeconomics essay answers" and organic chem notes. Yeah! Hahaha. Hopefully that can last long...

ITS BEEN A VERY LONG TIME SINCE I UPDATE THIS BLOG...

Many mnay things happen during the time when i did not update this blog. But...well, it has already passed, dun care ba...

Anyways...went out to meet Ms Wong at compass point today for consultation. Cool huh? Hahaha. First time meet teacher outside school for consultation. Lol. We didnt do much stuff lah. Just clear my doubts from MJC and SAJC 2008 prelims paper lor. Oh, and SAJC's paper is DAMN easy! How i wish this time prelim 2 can be of tt standard lor. Better if A levels is also like tt. WAIT! No! Or else people in upper end JCs will do very well. Cannot...

Oh, Alvin made a stupid joke today. Its like he just suddenly tell Ms Wong that joke.
Alvin: Ms Wong, next time you giving birth that time can come here (pointing to KFC).
Ms Wong: Why leh.
Alvin: Cos got free delivery mah...
JX: OMG! Imbar...
JQ: *laugh like hell* (as usual)

We studied until aroung 3pm? Then we went to arcade play play a bit, then to Kovan to play pool. But hor, we spend like damn long time playing pool, guess how much is the bill. Its like 67 plus bucks leh!!! What the hell lah... T.T
